Harold`s Place in Brooklyn

Truly Fantastic Food! Good quantity on your plate and presentation is nice. I've had country fried steak, Liver and Onions, Baked Fish on Fridays, and on Sundays Fried Chicken. EVERYTHING here is delicious! And. . By chance.. if its not to your liking, they'll do everything to make it right. Don't forget to try the homemade pies.. but save a piece for me!

The restaurant was clean good location. And of course there's always a but. The cheese steak sandwich was good but I was overcharged for my sweet potato fries.

The food and service was perfect.

Had dinner at Harolds while on a quick trip to the area. The staff was very polite and hard working. However, and maybe it was just what I ordered, but the hot turkey sandwich was awful. The turkey was cold and seemed to be processed. The gravy tasted like it was out of a can. I would not suggest this from the menu. The deepfried mushroom were very good though.

Great staff. I'm surprised at how many young ladies are working here. Very attractive girls, very polite, they look you in the eye and get your order correct. I had an amazing experience and think that others should at least visit. Very nice place.

Good place to eat- right off the main drag on the way to and from Irish Hills and MIS- adequate food options.

Food tastes great, relatively fast service, clean bathrooms, cleantables and healthier then most restaurants! Nothing else needs to be said great place would reccomend.

Very rude. I Called to place an order 3 times and each time they told me to call back because they were busy. The third time I called back, I said, “can I please just place a quick order? I’ve been told to call back in 5 minutes now 3 times. . . . “. I heard another waitress in the background yell, “OH MY GOD, WHAT does she WANT?” I let them know I heard that rude comment and would be ordering breakfast elsewhere.

First time eating out since covid felt very comfortable and the breakfast,service and bloody Mary's were awesome on a Sunday rainy morning

The food is fantastic! Homemade cooking, wonderful breads. I would eat there again. The staff were all friendly. The wait staff were even better so kind and efficient.

We ordered the hobo skillet, house breakfast, cinnamon roll, Belgian waffle with cool whip and strawberries, and french fries with onion and cheese. Everyone enjoyed everything quite a bit! The star of the show was the grilled cinnamon roll and grilled bread!

Had the cheese and mushroom omelette and was underwhelmed. Nice staff, could've been around more often filling coffee. Good menu, clean environment.

At least our waitress was amazing. I ordered the Harold's special, and toast was burnt potatoes were blacker then coal. I even tossed one and i thought it was going to break the plate. I didn't say anything to our server because we won't be coming back.

I stopped here to have breakfast with a few friends. The food was delicious, I ordered the cheese omelette and it was good. My only complaint was the waitress could have come around more and I wish they were quicker at refilling our coffee. The staff was pleasant and friendly.

Definitely one of our favorite places. Everything is homemade and the rye toast is amazing... among many other things!

Just a great all around small restaurant. Great breakfast. Great white fish. The best iced tea I've ever had. Maybe a hair expensive, but not horrible. Portion sizes are good. Staff is very nice and helpful.

New waitress. Ugh unbelievably rude. She actually made me feel bad for being ready to order after the 20...yes 20 min wait with no greeting no water no menue. When we left my guy complained and she actually started yelling sarcastically yeah HAVE A NICE DAY over and over. I was shocked. Good food in the past.

OMG! This is the best food I have had in like 15 years. Not kidding. I had the Hot Beef Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. It was mouth watering delicious. My husband had the special, Rib Eye with Fries and Gravy. Also delicious. We just moved here and this is my new home away from home. Can't wait to go back. 😊😊😊😊

Great food and excellent service! Freshly made and served hot! Very large portions also. CC was very attentive even after a very long day. We were there an hour before closing. The atmosphere is very cozy. We sat by the fireplace. We've gotta new go to spot.
